Patrick J. G. Stiennon
Patrick worked in the commercial launch industry including with GCH Inc. and his own startup. After a time with Lockheed Missiles and Space Company division of Lockheed Corporation, he joined David at Madison law firm Lathrop & Clark in 1990. In 2003 Patrick and David opened Stiennon & Stiennon.
Patrick is the author with David Hoerr of The Rocket Company, an engineering text framed as a fictional story of the development of a reusable rocket. The book was published by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Patrick is a senior member of the AIAA.

David began practice in 1989 at the Madison law firm of Lathrop & Clark and was joined by Patrick in 1990. In 2003 David and Patrick opened Stiennon & Stiennon.
David studied drawing and painting privately for over five years in the 1970s and 1980s with Madison realist painter Larry Elliott. He brings his drawing skills to the firm’s patents, directing patent draftsmen in creating drawings that illustrate and tell the story of the invention. He also is a writer of folk songs about the patent craft. He is president of the Technical Club of Madison and serves on the boards of the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education, Our Lady of Hope Clinic and St. Ambrose Academy.
