Stiennon & Stiennon was formed in 2003 as a partnership of patent attorneys (and brothers) David Stiennon and Patrick Stiennon in Madison, Wisconsin. David is now the sole proprietor of the firm, and Patrick is of counsel. The firm’s practice is exclusively intellectual property law, with an emphasis on providing patent prosecution services for corporate and in-house counsel. Although we provide litigation support services, we do not litigate cases.

Representation Policy

Stiennon & Stiennon respects the precepts of natural law, and as a result we will not assist in the facilitation of devices or processes which do not respect human life. For this reason we will decline representation involving inventions related to abortion, contraception, euthanasia, human cloning or artificial human reproduction techniques.
